FAIRY
& ELF WIGGLE & DISCO We wanted to run an event that would include our older
twin and triplet members and this seemed the perfect activity for bridging a
wide age range, from toddlers to schoolchildren. For an hour one Saturday
morning, nearly 30 twins and triplets (many dressed in fairy, elf or princess
costumes) wiggled, hopped, twirled, jiggled, galloped, danced, shook,
shimmied and boogied until their feet were sore! They were led by the
inspiring Zoe and Ezelle, who provided a dynamic range of music to dance to
and included dozens of props to add to the enchantment and energy of the
party, including bunny ears, flowers and parachutes. The room was darkened
for the disco in the second half of the event, with colourful patterns of
light, that fascinated all the little wigglers, swirling across the floor.
One number had all the children spinning around, waving twirling LED fans,
creating a myriad of temporary rainbows as they turned about the dance floor.
A bubble frenzy rounded off the dancing and it’s safe
to say that a fabulous time was had by all who attended. Soft drinks and
healthy snacks were provided at the end, though for some the dancing
continued almost until they were thrown out! Zoe and Ezelle run similar events regularly in
